today i arrived in dark and cold Oslo from sunny and warm Barcelona, but i can't say i don't like it.. we had a riders meeting and a pizza party on the top-floor suite in the hotel. then we just walked around Oslo city centre with Denis, Oivind and Eirik. and i can't fall asleep now because of the energy drinks we have in our rooms. Cause of a weird landing by getting in shape for Air and Style Bejjing in Hintertux I hurt my knee and was not able to fly to China and to compete at the Air and Style whats gonna go off this Weekend.

Was pissed at first but now I realize even if my knee feels now good again it wouldn't be any good idea to show of at a competition off this big size and eather hurt your self or just show a shity show and cant bring out the 100%.

PFFFF, finished! Hahah no it was amazing!

This year I had a tight premiere schedule and been all over Germany to visit new cities I never been to and party with some of you guys.

Premiers are always hard times specially when you get treated so well with liquor and good times.

But to be honest at every town I've been I had a blast and enjoyed every Premiere.

Thanks Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Innsbruck, Dresden and Karlsruhe for giving the König and the rest of the IsenGang some nice premieres.

The 2011 Isenlympic

There was a Meeting with the IsenGang at Dachstein Pleasure Jam and it was a blast hanging out with them.

But everyone of us had a goal! Going home with gold cause it was the beginning of a new era the Isenlympics. So no party no junk food because there have been some well hard new disciplines waiting for every rider.

Thats what the IOC (Isenseven Olympic Commitee) got to say about:

"With all this constant babble about the Olympics and the big bad FIS and all that other stuff that we actually don't really care about, we decided to host our own shmolympics.

heey guys,

so i have been home for the last 2 months, riding indoor a lot, and enjoying the good weather.
i did a couple of railbattles in the indoor, one was a ''game of shred'' i qualified in 1st place in our own indoor slope,
a week later were the big finals in belgium, all the winners for all the tour stops came there, to battle each other.
after a long day i got 1st again, with only getting 1 letter the whole day, so i won some money and went home happy.

there was also a big railbattle held outdoor, in belgium, antwerpen.
it was a street rail battle, with a big stairset built, i got 2d there, didn't go too good, but still happy...

after that i have just been in the indoor slope pretty much everyday, we got a new park so thats were we hang out before the mountains open again, and the season starts.

my birthday was 2 days ago, so we held a big party at a bar, i finally turnt 16:)
now im still at home, but i guess ill go to hintertux next week..

So four and a half month I am already in the Austrian Army now and one and a half more to go.

To be honest Time went past fast before I started my „carreer“ here and where I thought to my self "this will took for ages".

All in all it could have been worse but eather I just had luck and came to cool supervisors or I just realized that mostly of the Time you just have to take a chill bill and dont try to come to an solution about rules, responsibilities or instructions.

But sometimes, specially now because I knew how things are running here and how the hole Austrian Army System is built, I get more orders and

so on I am in charge of most of the stuff what is happening in the Company.

Where unfortunately my personal Life does not exists any more.

As well the Time is getting tight and 24hours a day is not enough for the König.

So right now all my plans on getting ready for the comming season is eather delayed or is getting shorter.

But this teaches me organization.

Now I am trying to compine things, organize days better or as well organize already what is happening months before.

What is hard in the snowboard szene. Haha. Or learn about multitasking where actually girls are professionals in it.

So sometimes bye picking out the good parts or see things diffrent you easier can handle responsibilities or times where you not happy with. Or you stick with it and stay feeling desperate.

So after my 6 week knee recovery i went to Val Senales for a Smith shooting and another shooting with the Isenseven film crew!

Even if i had to take it mellow because of my knee, i was stoked to just ride again and hang out with da boys!

For sure two epic weeks!

We were placed in a House on the

mounatin....away from the next town and you couldnt drive up there.

Even with almost no signal on the phone and the worst internet, we had lots of fun! Just to mention one funny (or fucking gross) thing: one guy drank my puke....shit like that went down!!!!

heey everybody,

i went to the south of germany near the border of austria,
i went there with gerben and joey from the netherlands.

they picked me up after a nice day of school :D
so we drove about 6 hours, as soon as we arrived, checked in and
had a really good dinner with everybody, about 23 riders.

so we woke up, and drove to the slope, well whats left of it...
they brought out pretty much all the snow that was still left to one place
and there they built a private park for us.
because it was a invite only session, there wasn't much croud, or any other activities.
we had a good session te whole day, with cash for tricks and game of snow.

there were supposed to be 2 days of riding, but it was raining in the night, so
2/3 of what was still left, was melted away aswell, to bad. so they cancelled the 2d day,
and we drove bakc to the netherlands after a good easter breakfest...

i don't have any pictures yet, but i will upload some if i have them

Went for a F-tech Isenseven Shoot to Schnalstal Val Senales cause we heard they got a nice Kicker ready to get some more Kicker Action done.

(the Kicker we came for and yes they are building giant boobs you can jump over, you only get this in italy)

We been a big crew and it was fun to hang out with everyone. Always a pleasure.
But People in schnalstal or in this place we stayed are unkindly as hell. Typical Italian. Would never make holiday there. There is nothing to do when you not ride snowboard and you have to pay for every shit you take. For example 10minutes hot tub for 4 Euros or 1 Euro for a second knife and plate at dinner. Great ha? A real shitplace.

But F-tech build up a cool Park and a good looking Kicker for shootings. This was the reason why we made our way to this place.
We also got blessed with some good weather what is not really common up on a glacier. So the Session was on.

What was nice to be honest was the ride down the glacier. Super long run with some really nice views.

heeyy everybody!

so yesterday was the European finals of the Volcom Peanut Butter And Rail Jam,
in laax, Switserland...

it was a very warm day, actually wayyy too warm, there was almost no snow left
and we were all burnt in our faces.
so the contest started pretty early as there were about 300 riders.
the qualis went very well, and i got 1st in qualis.
so i was really nervous in the finals, but i was able to get some good tricks
which got me a 1st place in the finals aswell, so i was really stoked on that.
i got money and allot of goodies as prizes, no america trip this year as it was on the same day too.

Last couple of days I've been shredding in Silverton (Colorado) and it was insanely good. Sick powder, good weather, awesome crew, lots of sledding, shotguns shooting, overnight stay at 4000m and two very productive days! Can you ask for more? Not really ha.

Bad weather today so just shooting some non-snowboarding things with Sami my man from Onboard. Later today we're gonna check out some weird natural "sauna caves" that they have here. It's called the hot springs. Hope it's dope. Last shooting day tomorrow and then back to Europe.

So afterall, it wasnt that mellow as i thought. Wanted to fly back to the US on the 9th april. So i went to Laax on the 8th to check out how it is...still didnt feel good, so i decided to stay back home, forsure till end of april and get some physio done, so i will be 100% ready again... sucks big time and im feeling like shit. But thats the way how it goes sometimes....

That means the Snowbombers and the guys behind Snowbombing just bring all their Power together for a nice round up of an Amazing Week.

Lets start off bye going up the mountain where there was the last discipline of the Ride and Seek comp and as usual a messy Party at Grillhofalm.

So it was time for the Big Air Event at Ride and Seek.
But due to some hard 3 days up on the mountain and snow contitions you dont really want to ride every Competitor was kind of over it and I guess on that Time everyone was just wishing for rain. hahah.
We had to finish the Ride and Seek Games and thats why we got all our energy togheter and had a Session for about an hour on the Jump.

It was also good to give the Snowbombers who just woke up from coma and made their way up on the mountain a little show so that their party can start over again.

In the end every Rider had a good time and it wasn't even that shity to ride.

was waiting for me bye winnig the Big Air discipline of the Ride and Seek Championships. Cant be more stoked

to do a hat trick at snowbombing 2011.

The Last night! Prodigy was great, kissy sell out was destroying me and Fat Boy Slim had a stage in between all the People. Hey, me again!
So much to stories to tell.

So, after the Helsinki trip I headed with Dasha to Chezh Republic for Burton Spindl Spring Sessions...

such a fun setup!

We had a flight with Lufthansa and it was such a disappointment. we flied from Helsinki to Prague via Frankfurt and they lost our boardbags. fuck that... i totally wanted to spend a day on the mountain without my board. fortunately, they brought our bags the next day... as for the best things, the park was sick! sun, slushy snow, lots of people and lots of stuff to shred. many props to BSSS organizers! wait for a footy

and this is Dasha, who is my girlfriend, photographer, translator and simply everything

after Spindl Spring Session we had the same flight with Lufthansa to Helsinki and then flight to Moscow. and guess what? they lost our luggage again... should i add anything else? don't fly with Lufthansa if you want to save your nerves... well, this is not the end of my story. while trying to decide what to do we met austrian guys Fuchsi and Rudi who had the same flight from Prague with us! after a second they suggested to join them and film in Helsinki for one week. and after a few hours we changed our airtickets and stayed with them. got many shots from that week as well. would like to thank all the guys who we stayed with - Seppi, Rudi, Fuchsi and Mitja! it was really good times!

Hello!

The Launch in Park City is over, it's been a fun week, kinda bad weather at the end but still lots of fun riding and hanging out with all of the guys. Park was amazing, they built lots of fun jumps, very creative rail setup and lots of other, unusual things. Was nice to meet some Forum youngbloods and ride with them - they are fucking killing it.

Big thanks to Kevin Keller who took good care of three annoying boys and bought us a nice birthday present :) It's been an awesome week. Thanks guys.

And yea … I'm not a teenager anymore! :)

so happy about that... the bones are bruised so i have to chill for abit and do some mellow exercises.

hurt myself on the second day in 7Springs!! sucks!!

overshot a jump and hurt my knee. thought it's gonna get better the next days, but didnt. so i decided to fly home to my doc and get it checked. worried about my acl.

Sucks because it was sooo sick, such a sick setup and fun times, dope house and a good crew!! We played C-lo, went to shoot some shotguns and had some nasty ice cream fights. hope its all good with my knee and i can go back to the states on the 9th!

Tuesday Night I made my way to Flachauwinkel, including Mario Wanger and Chris Kröll,

to go to the Spring Battle in Flachauwinkel.

Never been to Flachauwinkel/AbsolutPark yet but only heard good things about it. So it was time to

go there.

And I tell you I had some great days and some

awesome snow fun there. They really care about

the Park there and as well they care about

Snowboarders.

A long park with all diffrent features, good kickers,

sweet rails and they also got a mini ramp up on the mountain at their own chill house.

Propper fun and good times.

Unfotunately I did not made it into finals, but still

I was stoked anyways on some good days there.

Cause I did not made it into finals and I new Isenseven was shooting the new build/famous

Sölden Kicker I went to join them on the next day.

(thanks to swedish house mafia and BBC Radio Ones Essential Mix for keeping me awake in the morning)

Was tired from the Spring Battle and pissed of from driving.

I made it out of my bed but slowly came in mood to actually go to sölden.

But I made it to Sölden and now after the Session I have to say I am stoked I went there.

They build a sweet obstacle and a really smooth Kicker. There where some speed Problems but still everything went well. Good Job Rudi Whylidal. Nice Obstacle.

So daaamn, that was a mission to leave Mammoth!

I had a flight from Mammoth to L.A. on Saturday evening, but then on Saturday I saw that a bunch of flights got cancelled,

So I went to the airport and asked if my one will flight is still on…but they were'nt sure, so I needed to sort something out to go to L.A.... since I have to fly from L.A. to Pittsburgh (town of Wiiiiiizzzzyyy, black and yellow, black and yellow) on Sunday! I got a ride to L.A., and then I actually saw that my flight didn't get cancelled, so I paid a flight from mammoth to LA for nothing! Sweet!!

Anyway, I'm in 7springs now! Checked out the setup which we're gonna shred this week! Dude, its gnarly!! Looks sick... but gnarly!!

So tired now!! Peace out breeeeeaaahhh

Amazing trip!

First I went to France for a couple of days to hang out with the Dragon guys at the x games. That was awesome, great times!

After France the troubles started - awful flights to Mammoth with lots of complications, lost luggage (twice), bad weather all the time, unhealthy food, broken computer…

All these things sounds like shit but I'm seriously having one of the best trips ever. Weird stuff makes the trip interesting and the cool stuff makes it good. Thanks everyone! :)

Now I'm defrosting myself in Encinitas before heading to Park City.

Encinitas is amazing, everything is so beautiful here, it's warm and people are super friendly and relaxed. I love it.

Nils, Michi and me went out with the sleds today with Gabe Taylor and some other guys to shoot some pillows!! But maaaaan, it's so much pow, it's hard to sled... everybody got stuck all the time!!! But yeah after a while we got to the spots and it was SICK! Too bad it was snowing so crazy that it was alomst impossible to shoot! Still fun day out there though!!

we took it easy today and just chilled in the morning and might go up on the hill in the afternoon.

Finally everybody got to Mammoth and got all the baggage! was such a mission!

Michi Lehmann (photographer) Mogl (writer) Adri (filmer) and Bast Rittig (weird kid) picked me up in LA on friday and we drove to Mammoth. On the way we saw this huge fire!

police and firemen went crazy! was huge!

Then Luka should actually arrive, but as its super shitty weather in Mammoth, the flight got cancelled and he got stuck in SanFran.

This was supposed to be a Parktrip, but we get like everyday 50-60cm, so it kinda turned into a BC trip! fuck yeah!

Luka arrived, but his baggage not!

Saturday we already went to shoot some stuff in the woods.

sunday we went to shoot some stuff around town and picked up Nils from Reno! Today we went to June Mountain and shot some powder stuff, was sick! finally nice weather, luka was chilling back home, but finally got the boardbag in the evening, so he is ready to go out with the crew tomorrow and get some shit done in June Mountain!

Saturday we already went to shoot some stuff in the woods.

heey,

so as i said in my last blog-update,
i went to america for 2 weeks.

i went there with a friend of me from belgium, we flew there together
to meet up with a dutch friend who was there for 3 months, they had a huge house
so we stayed there the first week.

they had the house in truckee, california.
when we got there, we were trapped.... there was a record of snow
which was about 2,5 meters fresh, so it was about a small 3 meters.
so we could go anywhere as the cars couldn't get out, we just rode to the supermarket
by our snowboards over the road.

so the day after they had cleared the roads out and it stoped snowwing, we just rode northstar all week long
which was really sick, the first 2 days the most of the rails and jumps were still closed cause of the snow.

after that week was over we went over to bear mountain, we passed LA, hollywood where we payed a visit to universal studios
what was really cool, we got to see all the famous movie sets, and houses etc..

after that we went over to our hotel/motel in bear, rode
there the whole week long, which was the best off all, sick park good weather good vibes.
there was a rail competition aswell, i got through the finals in the mens divisoon, but no podium place.

after that week, the time was over went back to sanfransisco, on the way went to beverly hills for a day in rodeo-drive
and visted alcatraz too, very impressed!

and flew back from sanfrancisco, to london to amsterdam.

heey guys...

so i just got back from America,
i was there for 2 weeks... keep looking i'll write about it

So i went to Damuls with my father, we rode away in Holland in the morning
so we got there in the evening, had a good dinner right away, and just
chilling with the rest of the guys, we were there with, Luca, David and raphael,
chris came aswell later at night, so we went to sleep as i was pretty tired because the jetleg wasn't gone yet...
so we got up, had a nice breakfast and went up to the mountain...
trained a bit on the jumps.

than the contest started on the jumps, the kickers were a okay size,
not too big which was good as there was almost no snow left, so it was kinda sketchy...
so i did some 5's, 7's and 9's... we had a nice big hotdog lunch...

than we went over for the rail line's, the first line didn't go too well, but whatever...
the second rail line/session... that one went waaay better...

so that same night was the night session, with a corrugated pipe and a downrail,
which we ended with some pizza's

second day was the backcountry shoot, but since there wasn't any snow we just cruised around a bit
and waited for the prize giving.

i got the best youngblood prize, which is best overall impression for under 17.
won some money so i was really stoked....

now back home, school and indoor slope :D

There was no time for some chilling after our sweet day out in the BK because there where some birthdays in the House....or actually tomorrow but we celebrated in.

(the funniest bar I ever been to, feelt like you are at home in a living room and a entrance as big as a door from a fridge)

So we went for some awesome dinner to the place called DRAGON. Walked by there every day and always took a look on the menu. They got some mad food there and it was good to have a time off from sushi and fisch.

Also they had a Cocktail Menu with every Cocktail on it plus some cocktails you

never heard of and the ingredients where just

banger...not.

So it was time for us to play a little game.

After our first round of cocktails,

we could order by our self,

we decided that the next round

the guy on the left of you can order

any cocktail of the menu...doesn't matter how

evil it was you had to drink it.

Every on got the menu for some time and could

search for the one he thought it was the weird

one.

Time to play....tell you it is a awesome game

and you also got the chance to try out cocktails you would never gonna order.

We got some really funny but also hardcore

combinations.

This was my beauty Alex Schiller choosen for me.

I know, looks pretty normal on the

first look but when you got the

menu and rode what was in there

you knew what is going on and what will

happen after you drunk it.

How lucky are we... waking up on our last day with time to shoot and it was perfect blue bird. Not a cloud in the sky, a reset and all fresh.

We also didn't regret spending 450 Euros on a guide for that day because we were just motivated to get as much done on that day as possible. What we heard as well is that it's not common to have a bluebird day in Japan. Only happens like 5 times during the Winter. So lets go out there and get things done...

Got out early to be the first ones out there, but as soon as our guide brought us to our first spot (which by the way was seriously amazing) we already saw Wolle Nyvelt and some guys from Salomon being in that zone. Also, the Pirates Crew parked their car in front of us and as well came too late for that spot. It really has to be shitty in Europe right now if all those crews are here at the same time... busy times here in Japan.

But anyways we went to a zone we'd already spotted on the way up to the area Wolle was at. So we got our gear out and started our way up a ridge next to 2 gullys that looked good from the bottom and with a lots of spots in there.

The first steps were easy but as soon as it got steeper it was horrible. Especially for Fischi and Alex who had to carry 10 kilos extra of camera and photo equipment. In the end it was all good. Every one made it up and the view was a blast up there. Took a break, had some food and enjoyed the view.

But enough sight-seeing... time
to get some awesome snow fun.
I started with a line through
the first gully,
but didn't work out.
Also we already felt that the sun
was touching the snow hard and it started to get baked.
So we slowly made our way down and just jumped every pillow, tree, windlip we saw on the way.
Packed it down jumped it
and went up again. That's what we did the whole day and in the end the run down took us the rest of the day.
So one run down took us about 6 hours.

The crew was stoked about
the day but still beat up as hell from all the hiking around and
searching for the next obstacle.
It was good to know that we were also going to get extreme tonight with dinner, because of Fischi's birthday.

Had a little shooting with Grilo, Transworld snowboarding guys and a couple of buddies. They are doing a little Slovenia trip and there's gonna be a story about it in the January 2012 issue.

Japan Stories (Part I): DAY'N'NIGHT

So we've been to Niseko for the last 4 days now and it's really nice to be here right now.

Luckily there were 3 days of snow here otherwise it would have been hard for us because there was warm weather the days before we came... so the pow was hard and icy. But when it dumps here it really DUMPS and there is no stopping.

Our first days we stayed in the resort and searched some spots where we had lift Access.

But it's hard here: the locals and everyone just go off piste and send it in the backcountry. So there is more people in the BC then on the slopes. And I never saw such a line of people hiking into those areas.

(That are the lifts over there... safety is a big point over here in Japan this is why they build lifts like this)

So yeah we had 3 days of snowfall and foggy/cloudy weather.

But still our crew was out there and tried to get

things on memory card.

We actually found cool stuff in Niseko to do

and you just have to keep your eyes open,

bounce out from that lip, spray in there, pack down this drop and so on.

It is really cool to be honest but

hopefully we'll get a chance to build something and just send it.

thats the weird thing sometimes: up there where the spots are it's dumping but when you go down or 500 meters to the left there is the best weather... weird ha? )

Also what I wrote on my last post, every night they have nightsessions here, which is siick!
So to get more done we went for a super, I tell you, SUUUPER artsy night-shooting. Guess Alex Schiller's camera was blowing up because of all the artsiness. HAHA
No, good fun and some really unique shots were the result.

Haven't been up there riding today! Felt like shit... like my head will explode!
So I was sleeping in the hotel all day, kinda got better, but now I'm feeling really shitty again!

We drove to Revelstoke in the evening today, and on the way we stopped at a gas station. I checked out the Transworld Photissue and found this shot!!
It's from Mammoth last year with Forum... we did lots of fire stuff! It was such a dope shooting!

JAPAN - First impressions

So I made it over to Japan
"Hell Yeah"
along with the Pleasure Swatmates Christian Öfner and Markus Fischer, Isensevens finest Alex Schiller, Youngmoneymillionair Kevin Bäckström and the Fipset.

We had a flight straight from
Munich to Tokyo,
what was nice but the Seats where not planed for Europeans, then a connection flight to Sapporro/Hokaido (thats the north island of Japan) where we stayed
in a hotel what was located right at the Airport.

So on that time I haven't seen that much yet from Japan.
Only Airports restaurants and
the rob roy lounge...but at least
I got this for dinner. Guess the only
reason why I came over here...

So next morning, ready for the streets and for continuing
our journey we had to pick up our 10 Seater Toyota something.
But once again they as well didn't plan the car for europeans over here. Really I was wondering how 10 people, like even without Boardbags can fit in that car.

So there was a lots of Tetris gaming going on but in the end we made it just exaclty full. One Bag or even wallet more and we would have been fucked.

But Car was running and we where ready for the
drive to Niseko.
And as closer we came to Niseko as more the stories from Japan/Snow where transforming more and more into reality.

So we already been out riding cause the resort got open till 9pm, EVERY DAY, hope some Austrian Lift bearer can read that.
It was dumping big times and should stay like this till tomorrow Afternoon. Konichiwa.

Hey there,

been keeping busy and don't have internet all the time so here an update of the last days.

So were in Sicamouse now. Some small town in the middle of nowhere! Catboarding on the K3! just had one day of ridin, and took one day off today since my knee hurted, and now I'm feeling sick... sucks!

Hope it's gonna be better tomorrow!

Otherwise I just chilled out in the hotel room and watched Tanner Hall's movie!! it's soo dope maaaan!! U should check it!

After Peter pretty much had the best trip ever Catboarding in Canada, I hought: why let him have all the fun?!

Made it all the way from Colorado to Canada, met up with Nico, Alva, Lisa, Prendi and Mark and drove to Monashee!!
So yeah, im in monashee, Canada, right now. Its sooo sick! U only get here by cat or sled! No signal on your mobil phone! Next town is like 2hours away! We are staying in a lodge on the mountain! No lifts, nothing!The cat always brings us to the spot, picks us up and then to the next spot and again and again! I got my sled here too, so it makes it easier if we do laps when we shoot something!Food up her is delicious!!! And every morning there is a buffet to make your lunch for the day! Haha just awsome!

Back on the Blogin Scene, happy again?

Had to shut down

the Internet for a while cause the

2 Air&Styles

made me tired and

the König Batteries

where kind of empty

after those

2 Weekends.

So was just enjoying home right now.

Went to see

friends and Family,

had lunch and dinner every day,

went for some snowfun, did yoga and just

lived my life.

Felt good and the König Battery Bar is up on 100% again.

So I am ready aigain and going to get the my Office over to Japan, because I heard they got a better amount of snow then we got here in central europe right now.

As you can see here....

Have to get my bags ready and go to get my flight in Munich I'll keep you updated with pics like above.

And I should not forget about this...something amazing happend

heey guys,

what's up?

i just got back from mayrhofen again,
i went there 2 weeks ago after i went to kronplatz one day, for the stairset battle.
the first week i stayed with friends from belgium, that stay there the whole season.
they have got a really nice and big house.
so after that week i went to the air&style in innsbruck and ispo in munich for 2 days.

so i got back to mayrhofen again, and stayed with my indoor friends from holland,
we got ourselves a big appartement for 10 people, but we were with 5 :D
there was also a wellness, so thats were we hung out pretty much all day after riding.
the riding was really fun aswell, there were allot of good riders, mario, luca and luka came over for a day aswell.

now im back home untill the 24th, ill go to sanfransisco, and reno.
so we will be riding around tahoe, its my sencond time in the states and im sooooo stoked..
i can't wait anymore, i'll sure write about it,

so keep watching the blog, thanx.
